U-Learn Academy has been committed to developing young minds since 1973 in Dayton, Ohio. Founded by Hazel C. Jones, a credentialed teacher with a master’s degree in Education, U-Learn Academy has always used proven educational techniques to instruct and tutor children. Hazel Jones believed that, although many teachers did an admirable job in the classroom, some children did not learn well in traditional institutions. She also believed that a child's strengths and natural abilities needed to be the foundation of learning.  

Today, our educational service for reading and math tutoring still subscribes to the same philosophy. No two students have the same skills or learning style. That is why we create an individualized personalized tutoring plans for every child. At U-Learn Academy, Dayton, Ohio your child is seen as an individual, and natural strengths are identified and built upon.  We are a unique educational service that provides an environment where children can improve their academic skills and feelings about themselves. Educators work with students in a creative and enjoyable atmosphere. This allows each student to work toward achieving his/her educational potential and to experience learning success.

The social-emotional atmosphere at U-Learn Academy helps children develop self-confidence and a positive self-image.
